I've recognized that the gluetools debayer shows "false" colors at the image border.
Especially if there is a high contrast. The Same picture debayerd with Adobe looks fine.

Take a read through our user manual that comes with the DMG file.
It describes that there are several debayer algorithms.

Hi Bob:

I was reading about this issue with color fringing when debayering and wanted to let you know that even with the settings set to the best mode, we are still getting a pretty awful color fringing on our images.

That is a nearest neighbour debayer. Switch the debayer mode to something else.

Hi:

So the only way we were able to get FCP to respect the debayer setting was to actually set it in the system pref pane.

Then it did the best setting, otherwise, it kept doing nearest neighbor.
