Hi,
Please help.
I have just installed the Gluetools cineondpx trial for FCP plugin.
I can export a cineon sequence from fcp and view it in quicktime
but when i do the same with dpx and try to view them in quicktime,
i get a black screen that plays but no picture.
i am using all default settings.

Thanks.
C.

Hi,

I have no idea how to duplicate what you are seeing.
Please describe the steps that you are following, in point form.
If I can't duplicate the issue, I can't fix it.

Hi,

I am exporting a finished clip sequence from the FCPs time line by
going --- File/export-using quictime conversion
when the save widow opens I am selecting
DPX sequence in the format box.
I am leaving all settings at default.

This process successfully saves a DPX sequence to a desktop folder.
I then try to view this sequence by draging the sequence on top of the Quicktime icon as suggested in glue instructions.
Quicktime opens and plays the sequence but I only get a black screen.
I can re-import the DPX sequence back into FCP and it runs O.K.
My guess its a Quicktime issue.
Thanks
C.

Hi,

If you read the manual, it says that exporting using QuickTime conversion is not to be used.
